Chapter 1 : Interpretation Foundation

In this chapter, we can learn about the definition of visitor interpretation and interpreter and also the objectives of those things, what are the careers that involves visitor interpretation and interpreter, principles of visitor interpretation and interpreter and last but not least we can get to know what are the roles of an interpreter.

The keys of main concept interpretation is communication, emotional and intellectual and resource which summarizes from 'a communication process that forges emotional and intellectual connections between the interests of the audience and the meanings inherent to the resource'.

Interpreter can be divided into FOUR subjects which is someone who understand the history of the area. Next, interpreter is someone who lives in the park day in and day out. Other than that, interpreter also can be someone who knows land. Lastly, interpreter is 365 days a year.
